Trigger was up to 31.2lbs on Friday at 19 weeks, and is currently in that long-legged stage. He's lean, but not skinny. At least his tail now looks a little more in proportion (a week ago it looked waaaayyyy to long). Saw his sister a week ago, and she's not got the gangly leggy thing going on currently-she looks nice and well put together. We'll see his sister again tomorrow for their swim session, always interesting to see how they compare. Saw their mom yesterday, she's got her coat back in, and is fit again, she looks really good! she's back to doing retrieving training, think thats what got her back in condition. They said they'd like to get another couple pounds off, but also were lamenting no show local for the next few weeks, to try and get her conformation title. In the summer, she's too lean to compete well.
So if the 16wk thing holds true for Trigger, he will be quite small - 51.8lbs? based on Mom and Dad's sizes and weights i'm speculating he should be in the 70-75lb range.

Thought I'd give an update! Jackson was 83 pounds (and possibly a bit chunky/not muscular) at 9 months. I don't think he has much more growing to do at all.
Bear, who is 9 months today, weighs 80 pounds. He's long, lean, and muscular. He's a bit shorter than Maverick, and has done no filling out yet. This boy still has a ways to go.

Brooks is now 11 months old, and is definitely maturing both physically and mentally. He's still having some teenage moments, but they are becoming less frequent. This month he weighed in at 71.6 pounds, a gain of 1.4 pounds over last month. He's still at 22" at the whithers, give or take 1/4 inch for wiggles. I think he's done grown up, but still plenty of filling in to do.
You can see his head still needs to grow into his body.
I think he has a very nice head, and the kind expression that typifies the breed.

Great looking Lab...nice structure and good size. My guess is he'll be pushing 80lb over the next year plus of filling out.

He's doing great. The tail should come... with added coat too. It's a rough age where most say to put the dog in the closet, but I love it for performance titles anyhow because they are doggone sponges.

He has just barely started to blow his coat for the first time, finally! He's doing very well with training, we have a show and go this Saturday, going to a seminar for attention and healing on the 22nd. His first Obedience trial is the 28th. We've made great strides with the sit and stand for exam over the past month, which as we all know is pretty tough for a Lab puppy. We also start field training with our group this coming Monday!!!!!!

Well the little monster weighed in at 71 pounds on his first birthday!
Friday weighed 68.5 lbs at a year, just where I thought she would be, I think she may gain another pound of three over the next few months for a 71-72 final weight.
