I believe a growing puppy should gain about 2-3 pounds per week. How much are you feeding her? Three times per day?

Yep, plus lots of treats. The vet was happy with her size last week, and sh’s not acting starving. A few weeks ago she seemed urgently hungry so we upped her meals.

She’s been running 2 lbs gained per week; I was just surprised when this week was a bit over 3.

At 9 mos, Honey was 53.5# and not done growing. Pretty sure 60-63# will be pretty much it but will let you know. Her one bro was at 37.5# at same day, btw.

At seven months, Diggity is holding steady at 47 pounds. Counting down the weeks until he hits that final growth spurt!

Two days out from her 4 months birthday (she was born 9/13), she weighs 34.4 lbs. She might be closer to 70 than I'd predicted.

Stopped into the vet to get a weight on Presto and he is a surprising 63 lbs! I also wicketed him at an agility trial last weekend and he was 20". The smallest of the litter is 20" and 48 lbs (female) and the largest is 22" and 78 lbs (male). They are just over 8 months old. He was 33 lbs at 16 weeks and he's almost doubled that already. So, either the rule of thumb is going to be really wrong for us this time OR he's almost done growing.

How do I measure Diggity’s height?

At the shoulder over the back. Agility trials have official tools.

But where exactly? Is it at the top of the shoulder? Is there an accurate way to do it myself with a tape measure?
