I posted on facebook a few times but was told/reminded that members of the board (who are not on my facebook) had also contributed so wanted to post here (sorry for the delay).
I cannot thank everyone enough. The outpouring of support I have gotten (emotional, financial) has been amazing. I can't even believe it. It's been important in helping me get thru this. I've gotten tons of cards and messages of support.
On the financial side, the incredible generosity of so many people has helped me pay off not only her overnight at the ER but a big chunk of the TPLO surgery. One more payment to go and that debt will be gone.
It doesn't feel like nearly enough but - thank you.
She was a special dog, i've said it since the day I met her. it's just terribly unfair we only had a few years together

Every time I see the picture of Penny I smile. Her passing was hard to see, especially after losing Bruce at such a young age. I'm just happy we were able to help.
