Angry Forget the "Free to GOOD Home"......

I have a dog AND an adult daughter who are free to ANY home...... they're BOTH in the dog house right now!!

Thursdays, I have to be gone pretty much the entire day every week. My 22 YO daughter is home working on college work and supposedly watching the dogs for me. Well, obviously she doesn't watch close enough...... look at what Taylor did to the foot pedals of my 110-year-old baby grand piano.........

(with culprit lurking in the background......)

I'm going to kill them both.......

Yikes! Oh my goodness. What did your daughter say or have you approached her about that yet?

Oh, I pretty much ripped her apart last night -- I was SO unbelievably angry. She says, "I only left them alone for 20 minutes while I took a shower"....... yeah, right....... She hangs out in her room and does her school work while they roam the rest of the house, and she supposedly is "listening" for them. I have told her over and over to bring her books and laptop upstairs-- nobody will bother her, since no-one's home. But she hasn't done it....... After yesterday, she'd BETTER start doing it....... or she's going to need to new home too.

200 yrs from now on Antiques Roadshow.....I can hear them saying....See those chew marks....That's from a Labrador Retriever.... proving it's age...that was a time period where everyone owned this dog who loved to chew on the owners most expensive furniture....

I have my mother's piano. If that happened to it I think I would strangle the culprits myself. It would break my heart. I can just guess how badly you ALL must feel.

I can only imagine what would happen if that happened to my Mom's Baby Grand. And I play the piano, so it's kind of my baby, too. Oh my goodness. Poor piano.

Call a piano repairman. They may be able to repair that damage and make it look like new. It can't hurt to ask the question...

In the mean time... I say sell the daughter to the gypsy's and keep the dog.

Uh Oh!
About the only thing you can do now is chalk it up to "character marks". The the characters who are responsible better hide for a while.
