That would break my heart too. I would just have your daughter crate them when she can't watch them. It's an expensive lesson, but she's not going to be responsible for the pups when she's involved in her studies or whatever else she's doing.

Oh boy!!!! I can relate. My 15 year old daughter has been told on numerous occasions to watch Charlie while I'm out. Uh-huh. I come home to coke spilled all over the white carpet from a brown dog taking stuff off the counter and chewing it up. Arghhh.

I believe that can be repaired - not sure by who and you'll know it's there, but anybody looking at it won't.

I think I would consider "rehoming" the daughter too! LOL Yikes, hope you can get it fixed!

I would not be happy either. I studied at a conservatory of music for my undergrad and thus...chew the kitchen table, I'd be annoyed...chew my piano...oh my...

At 22, I'd make your daughter pay to fix it, though. Bet she'd be a bit more careful when she's watching the pups in the future!

That's terrible. I can relate too.
My adult daughter was watching the dogs a week ago. The last thing I said to her when we were leaving was" If you leave this room put Cooper in his crate." Don't leave him unattended for a minute. DD is watching TV with Cooper on the couch talking on her cell. She leaves the room, of course, leaves her cell phone on the couch. Guess who chews it. DD called me on her way to verizon for a new cell. LOL

Agree- she should be calling around for estimates to "fix" it- (even if she doesn't pay for it ).

So sorry about your special piano...

In the mean time... I say sell the daughter to the gypsy's and keep the dog.
Sorry I couldn't but laugh on that. We must be talking about my adult daughter.

Hopefully you can get the Baby Grand repaired.
