    this is my new friend^^^^.

anyway, i never used to but eli can be a real PITA so generally, they aren't locked up until he becomes unbearable. in the crate, then out, and he sort of gets that if he is a pain, they all go in their crates.

I lock Comet up because he can't be trusted when I'm alone and turn my back for 5 seconds. So definitely not trustworthy with a bunch of people over. I let him out when people are first coming in to greet because he is such an absolute love.

Luna stays out the whole time. She's the best party dog ever.

We don't lock Charlie up, but he is expected to behave. He is allowed to calmly greet the guests but then he has to go lie on his bed.

Never have in the past with previous dogs. However, Max our 1st lab is a bit people shy and has only been with us a week and a half. He will run to the bedroom and up onto our bed. We will probably be placing him in his crate this holiday season during visits then after he settles opening the door so he can come out and visit when he feels comfortable.

I am stubborn about this, if people don't like Opie, people plain and simple don't like me. Usually, they do like Opie but not me ha ha, if Opie's not invited, I'll opt out, if Opie laying next to me bothers anyone at my house, they are more than welcome to not eat and go home.
