    Oh, no....I'm so sorry.

He knew you'd do whatever was necessary to spare him any unnecessary fear or pain...you did the right thing for him. Even knowing that, it's really hard to deal with.

Oh, so sorry. You did all that was possible to give Zack the best possible chance. Relieving him from illness and pain is the greatest gift you could give as hard as it was to do.

    Rest In Peace Zack

Thank you all for your condolences. My heart and life feel so empty without my boy- it has been a very long and difficult two weeks. The house is not the same without him. Very sad & still shedding lots of tears

My condolences. I read the beginning and stopped when it sounded like he was doing ok. So many more posts and I thought I better recheck so I apologize for not posting sooner.

i know I'm coming to the game late, but I wanted to send my sincere condolences. My pup had gone through a similar scenario just about 2 years ago, and we road the roller coaster as long as we were able too.

I know there aren't any words that will take away the sting from your loss, but I wanted to pass along a method that helped me feel less sad and put a smile on my face.
What I did was very simple, every time I thought about/saw a picture of something we did together (training, hunting, camping, chillin' on the beach) I decided to smile about instead of feeling sad.
I let those good times/memories put a smile on my face and it helped me a lot. Sometimes it would even make me chuckle.
Enjoy the memories you made with Zack, and let them make you smile!!!

    Sincerely,
    John
