Keeping Thor in our thoughts too. As a coincidence, Haleigh had her spay done yesterday and is recovering just fine. She is just going on walks with us around the property and we are keeping things mellow for the next 10 days or so.

Gigi got a sedative but as per my wife it did not help alot . She was spayed and I am told it's more involved. She had the cone for 2 days . She was groggy for 1 day . Poor wife had to manage her and the 2 kids for 2 weeks as I went to India .
Gigi was a little crazy as per wife.peed on our bed.lucky we got a protector and was nutz till I returned. She was some sedative for 2 weeks and as per wife did not help.

This is the calmest he's ever been. [emoji38]
He's still sleeping off the surgery, I'm sure his batteries will be recharged at some point tomorrow.
Aw poor guy. I will never forget Jules after his procedure. He was so doped up that he was leaning on me to stand. But his tail was still wagging. When I had to bring him in to get the stitches removed he refused to go in. Literally planted his feet on the ground outside the office and refused to move. It took me 10 minutes to get him through the door. I don't know what they did to him in there but we switched vets after that. Speedy recoyyo Thor.

Poor Thor, yeah day of Hemi was pretty calm. Day after was when he discovered his stitches and wanted to lick them and while he was not totally exuberant he had energy.
Heal quickly mighty Thor and hopefully your mom got you some Undies to wear around the house because we need to see those pictures.
Yeah his 'on' button flipped about 1 am last night. I slept downstairs on the couch in the room where he's sleeping in the picture above. He didn't want to go out to pee before bed, and I didn't want him running up and down the stairs or jumping on our bed, so I closed the doors to the room and settled in on the couch so I could take him out when he needed it. At about 1 am he had his nose in my face with happy tail wagging. I had to put the cone on since he decided licking was an interesting way to explore what was going on down there. He was pretty restless the rest of the night, but I don't know if that was because of the cone confusion or emerging from his surgery haze.
And tell Hemi that I have instructed my husband to get some undies for Thor, so I'm sure there will be equally as embarrassing photos in the near future.

Glad Thor is home and starting his recovery. I too had to LOL with the on button comment.
Sarah had to make an evet visit the day after her spay. I went to work the following day giving SO instructions that she was to remain quiet. I got home to find Sarah banking off the back of the couch chasing Bailey, her incision started draining a bit so off to the evet. Her doctor wanted to know if she was always this wound up I had to laugh as apparently he hasn't been around many labs, so he bandaged her up and gave her a sedative there with several more for me to take home.
