Great news! Great relief for both of you.
I may be jumping the gun here but Nikki isn't leaking and it's been two days since the surgery to remove the pancreatic mass and the abdominal mass that wasn't associated with anything. More importantly, her breath doesn't smell like urine at all which means she hasn't been licking herself either to keep the flow at bay. I don't think she's been this dry since she was nine. They said the masses were old. I can't help but wonder how long these things have been growing.
Great news! Great relief for both of you.

Wow, wouldn't that be a happy result? I wonder if one of the tumors was putting pressure on her bladder. Happy news!

Could they have been pressing on her bladder? No, I guess they were not beside her bladder? Or making something else press on it? I bet she feels a lot better.

Wonderful news !!!!!!!! I bet she will feel much better now and be more like her youthful self. If they could only talk and tell us what hurts or that something is not right.

I did read an article that said that pancreatic cancer can cause incontinence. There could be a domino effect too. I'm not entirely certain where the second mass was but if each were softball size, it would seem that they would be shifting other organs out of the way. She's so happy now. Honestly though, I don't know what we'll do with ourselves if we don't have to be cleaning up after her.
