I think we tried Temeril P w/ Winnie years ago. Since her issue w/ LP, I start all my senior citizens on cholodin (can buy thru HealthyPets.com) at ~9 or so. It's a neurological supplement that also helps w/ dementia. Whether coincidental or not, I've not had an LP issue ever since. Best of luck. Anne

My girl Emma suffered from LP for at least 4 years. At the age of 13 we new it was time to let her go. I agree with avoiding collars whenever possible. Follow his cues...when he shows signs of stress you know it's been too much exercise or excitement. Try to avoid getting him to the point of 'too much' and that will keep him (and you) more comfortable. I didn't do any meds so I don't know about any of that.

Ugh- letting go of your senior pup has got to be one of the hardest things to do. Collars got donated some time ago. Since then I've quadrupled sarge's chip info just to be sure [emoji23].
I believe you can never be too careful.
