Hey all -
Molly's now at 15 weeks recovery and she is doing great! We are doing rehab (water treadmill, laser, and therapy ball exercises) and at the last session they re-measured her legs. Upon first measurement at 8 weeks, she had 5 cm less muscle in her surgery leg than her normal leg. Now - they are even! In fact, the normal leg even got more muscular and her surgery leg looks better than ever. She's also lost 1 kg (we were told she was a big girl... lol) and is now pulling us longer on walks.
I am so glad we went with the surgery! I was so scared to make the decision to do it, but I know reading experiences on this blog helped me feel more comfortable with the idea so I wanted to make sure I passed along some good news!

Thanks you guys for all the support!!
Sounds great! We are on week 6 of bilateral TTA, good to hear there is light at the end of the tunnel!
Yes definitely!! I think it took us 8 weeks to finally feel like the chaos was more manageable because my god was there a lot of do and keep track of especially in the beginning! (Plus she got two back to back UTIs, so you know... extra fun for everyone)
Good luck to your little one!
