    actually this. Having a dog go from normal to just...dead (in my case it was over a bit longer than with Bruce but not long) It's hard to ever relax again. I don't think I've gotten over it and it's making me that much for anxious about Rocky (especially with LP having a symptom of going into crisis and dying not being able to breath). Having a sick dog and managing is hard in a different way.
