    Let's hope it's just a little lipoma.

Vet called with not good news. Spindle cell sarcoma. Good news is it is a low grade tumor and a small growth so hoping when we do surgery we will remove it all

Hopefully they can take the lump off with good margins. Our old girl had a hard bump on her butt, the cells looked strange vs. just a fatty lipoma, so we removed it first, and then did the biopsy. It was some kind of soft tissue sarcoma. She healed and did well after that. So it's good you had it looked at and checked. So many lumps are just benign lipomas. Hopefully your dog feels better after it's off. In regards to thyroid, if they are seeing low normal, you may still want to do a FULL panel. My boy was low normal, but we did whole panel and his TSH level was off, so that combined with the low normal warranted meds. Low normal alone with no other testing doesn't always get meds from the vet.
