Nikki does not have insulinoma.

Got the test results back and at least the tumor on the pancreatic islet is not insulinoma, "just" neuroendrince carcinoma. So, just the one cancer then.

Not knowing much about those two types of cancer, I hope this is good news. As Mollysmomma said, having only one type sounds better.

Insilunoma would have required adjusting her glucose levels which would have meant a lot more treatment. It's more comfortable this way.

So what she has is the lesser evil then. Good thoughts for treatment that proceeds smoothly, with no bumps in the road.
