I doubt food would have anything to do with it. I would put the dog on milk thistle and CoQ10 ~ same thing as Denamarin. But you can find the stuff in any health food aisle or store.
I can't really read the results. Retest in a few months after the supplement. Detoxing takes a little while.

Yeah....same here. Well, I developed an intolerance and can't take it any more, but neither any of my dogs nor I ever had that happen. Our vet confirmed what I've read about it, though, so I consider it a possibility. (first read about it in a book touting its use) I guess there has to be the right mix of individual dog/human metabolism with the sulfur.
Well, I see thats not clear either. Dang!
You can't attach it, but rather you'll need to load it somewhere and then link it. In any case, liver supplementation and recheck is probably the best.

Thanks. I wasn't aware of that. He has been acting completely normal and showing no signs that anything is wrong. Here are his elevated levels from 8/11:
ALT 1,195. Normal 18-121.
AST 224. Normal 16-55
ALL 230. Normal 5-160
These are pretty high. Have you done an ultrasound? I'd also check for Cushings.

No ultrasound yet. Dr will be calling me today to discuss further action. He had previously mentioned ultrasound and liver biopsy. Just seems pretty invasive right off the bat without mentioning any other options to try first, but what do I know.
That's the problem with tests like that. If they find nothing, aside from peace of mind, it will seem like jumping the gun. If you wait and have to do them a month from now and something is found then, you'll wish you'd done it before. Hopefully your vet can help you find the right balance.
