    Cookie is doing great today.

Last night he could barely walk. His FHO leg can't support his big butt on its own, so he falls off balance.

I consulted with the vet and she told me to give him 100mg of Rimadyl. I gave him 50mg because he has had some issues with his stomach in the past after a couple of days of Rimadyl. I made sure to give it with food this time.

    No limp today.

Thanks. So far so good. Started PT today, but he hasn't limped since Friday night. I'm guessing he tweaked it while jumping on/off the car. I support him when he gets in/out, but he still acts like a crazy puppy.

I'm glad he's feeling better...he's a great patient and that certainly helps. (definitely helps to have a good owner, too...)

Oh Cookie. Getting old sucks for all of us. However your in the best of hands. Your mom probably feels more discomfort than you do. You don't seem to stop going and you keep your happy face all the time.

harder to manage when they act like puppies but good to see them still happy and moving
