That looks like a histio to me, too...but better safe than sorry (vet check).

I had Cooper in to the Vet for something unrelated on Wednesday and the Vet seemed to think it was a blood blister or a bug bite...it hasn't changed since I first noticed it, I would think after two days it would start to subside if it was either one of those. I'll keep an eye on it for now.... I will have to google what a Histiocytoma is...I have no clue lol Thank you for responding!!!
A blood blister can last for some days but it is good to check and read up.

The area on Cooper's tummy has not gone away, if anything may be a little it bigger than when I first noticed it on October 4th. I'm doubting now that it is a blood blister or a bug bite....the area isn't bothering him at all, he doesn't appear to be scratching or licking it.
This is a picture of the area taken this morning.....any suggestions??
Thanks again!!
Michelle
Looks very much like a histiocytoma. Google images and you will see what they look like - which can vary.
If that’s what it is, it should fall off on it’s own in 10-14 days or so.

Thank you!! I Googled Histiocytoma and it definitely looks like it could be one for sure.....although they state they are typically found on the head, ears and limbs...Cooper's is on his tummy closes to his leg fold (if that makes sense). It's been 9 days now, I will keep an eye on it, hoping it will start to shrink or fall off
Scully had one on her belly ... she was older at the time (10?) and the vet was concerned it might be a mast cell tumor as histiocytoma’s are more usually found in younger dogs, so he removed it and sent it for biopsy just in case. Definitely a histiocytoma but since it was removed, I don’t know how long it would have taken to fall off.
