Try feeding him some no-salt sauerkraut mixed with a little warm water, dogs love fermented foods and sauerkraut is also good for the liver. You don't need to get the capsule in him, but the meds inside, so crack open the capsule and pour the meds into some apple sauce or yogurt on a spoon and have him lick it off.

Ursa is so cute, when she's in her crate at bedtime, she waits for her Bufo dosage before going to sleep, and then I pet her head, tell her she's a good girl, and she gives a little "thank you" grunt.

Thanks, she doesn't seem to fit any of those descriptions directly. Hers are sudden onset, violent, and she clusters. The meds have kicked her butt at the moment. I have wondered if thuja might help when she gets started though.

Thuja is a good start, it's also sold where Boiron is sold, or online. Thuja will detox her of anything that is bothering her and leads to seizures. After Ursa's clusters, Dr. W. put her on Aconite LM (LM is important - if your interested, you can phone and talk with a Homeopath at Boiron for guidance, I've done that many times before - they have a vet on..at least in Canada they do), once per day at bedtime, it definitely helped to prevent clusters and shorten the seizures.

We're in the beginning of the full moon phase and Ursa had a petit-mal/focal seizure at 12:33 a.m., it lasted about 7 seconds and in went the Belladonna. (We chart the times and duration, as this is important to finding the right homeopathy.) I then lay awake to listen to her breathing until it becomes relaxed and then I fall asleep. She's acting normal this morning. That's the beauty of homeopathy, it works fast with no side-effects.
