Do you know how to take your pup's temperature? I would think that'd be valuable info to have for your vet. If your dog has issues, it's good to know how to deal w/ overheating the correct way as you do not want to over cool them either.
I had one go down to heat stroke a few years ago and it was very scary.

Where I live it gets really hot fast! I took my two out to the dog park and after 15 minutes of playing they both were laying down and panting very heavy (Mozzie is 1 1/2 and Penelope is 4 months old). I think it is just the weather. Happy to hear she was fine the next morning. What did your vet say?

My brother's black lab pants just when he sees food
When he starts playing fetch he pants like crazy after 20 minutes.

During the summer, Charlie will pant after just a 20 minute walk.

We sleep with the AC on 72.
