Yellows seems to shed all the time.
Sometimes allergies make it worse...so feed well and brush often (or vacuum often...or both)
Yellows seems to shed all the time.

I have 2 labs, a black and a yellow. My yellow lab walks around and sheds like pig pen 365 days a year, there is cloud of poof that surrounds her all the time. Summers are bit better because she swims a lot. My black lab blows her coat twice a year and sheds lightly the rest of the time.
Labs are quite the shedders

Thor (yellow) has a massive coat blow twice a year. I feel like I have to follow him around the house with a vacuum at all times, and we still have tumbleweeds (or tumble-thors as we call them) of dog hair all over the place. If you as much as pat him on the head there is a cloud of fur that puffs off of him. He slows down in between the two but still sheds a bit.
Fannie, my yellow girl who passed about 8 years ago was nicknamed "The Blond Snow Storm". She moved, fur poofed out all over the place. Brooks has had 2 good blows so far (he's almost 20 months) that lasted a couple weeks. He does poof a few bits of hair when he shakes, but nothing like Fannie. Sophie barely sheds.
My worst was my chocolate boy Noah. He had the thickest coat, and I'd furminate him when he was really blowing it. I'd fill a brown grocery bad every other day for a couple weeks. I honestly couldn't figure out how I could take so much fur from him and he'd not be bald!
