    red spot on upper lip/nose

always something...chili woke up with red spot under nose/upper lip and has been sneezing, runny nose, not eating and a few times seemed to be coughing/trouble breathing...right now just resting by my side. tried googling but answers all over the place. just gave him some chicken soup and he gobbled it up.

any thoughts here is a pic

If it weren't for the other symptoms, I'd guess the start of a wart or some such, or perhaps a plastic allergy.

With the other stuff, I'm guessing he got bitten by something.

LOL, I don't think chicken soup works for dogs, but I am sure he was really happy for the treat!

He could be starting up with a respiratory issue. Can you get his temp taken?

My guess the red bump isn't related. ???

96 is low for a dog. Normal rectal temp should be approx 100 to 102. With the low temp and the symptoms you described such as not eating and trouble breathing, get him to a vet asap. Thats way to much going on at one time

think he might have gotten insect bite in backyard or allergic to something in back yard...probably take to vet if doesnt clear up or gets worse.
