Nikki was good after Fran passed but when my husband left town she became very anxious and started throwing up then became very lethargic. It happened like clockwork after a certain amount of time after he left then disappeared immediately after he came home.
We started her on Valerian Complex from Standard Process on his current trip and she is fine. It took a couple of days to take effect but it worked like a charm. Just wanted to put that out there.

Rudy has had anxiety and worry issues since I got him at age 4 mos. He is now almost 6 yrs old. I worked w/ a trained to increase his self confidence 3-4 yrs ago and he seemed better. He has always occasionally chewed off-limits stuff but it was erratic and had no pattern. My ex died Feb 2017, and I moved 180 miles south July 2017. He has always liked going for car rides, both he and Annie ride in the back of Subaru. I recently traveled to/from SC w/ them both. Rudy freaked, rode on the floor between front and back seats, panting, huffy/puffy, restless, some shaking. This happened there AND back. Then, 3 days in a row, he chewed stuff that was not his. He is in a crate during the day now, and I have a barrier in Subaru so they ride in the cargo area, and cannot get into the back seat. My trainer said dogs can take up to a year to adjust to new situations, coupled w/ his anxiety could be longer. Any suggestions on a supplement, or just keep things status quo for now? thanks.
OK thanks I will look that up.
OK thanks I will look that up.
Rudy is also on synthroid, do I need to call vet to see if there are any interactions?
