Has the vet ruled out ectopic ureter? This has been found in some lines of labs.
Looking for any and advice from everyone on here with their lab/dog knowledge.
As I have previously posted in the Puppy Health Section, Dozer was diagnosed with a UTI on Feb 13/18 at 12 weeks of age. We had noticed him having more frequent accidents and dribbling urine without what seemed him knowing. His Urinalysis showed WBC and cocci bacteria. He was put on Clavaseptin 125mg twice daily for10 days. During the period that he was on antibiotics, we noted he was still dribbling, but did seem to have better control (would ring the bell to go outside). He was still urinating frequently, about every 45 minutes while awake, but considering he is a puppy, I wasn't sure if that was his UTI or not. We had another urinalysis done at the end of his Antibiotics, which showed no WBC or Leukocytes, but a large amount of Struvite Crystals. We started Dozer on Vitamin C twice a day and added some wet food to increase his water intake. His urine was then sent for a C&S on February 24/18 and the results came back on the following week showing that he did not have a UTI (it had cleared), his pH is 7, and his Sp Gravity was High. We have continued with the Vitamin C and wet food along with adding Cranberry Juice to his water. During the last week (Monday to Friday) I noticed a marked improvement in the number of times he went outside to pee (he was going out every hour to hour and a half instead of 45 minutes) and he wasn't having any accidents or dribbling. Then this weekend he has started dribbling urine again...started yesterday with dribbling while sitting waiting to go outside and again while waking up in his crate from a nap, dribbled when I got home from work (I try to ignore him and let him settle before talking to him). This morning he dribbled all over the floor in our room when he woke up and walked out of his crate and peed on my PJ pants when I carried him downstairs to prevent urine on the carpet. He has had two other episodes of dribbling today, one when sitting waiting for his supper and the other while greeting my daughter who had just come home. He also dribbled on his blanket in his crate and onour floor after waking from an hour long nap. He goes out to pee at night at 10pm and goes to bed, he usually wakes between 4-4:45am to go outside. He has been going outside to pee anywhere from every 30 -60 minutes, he is now 15 weeks old.
Does anyone have any experience with this?? I'm not sure if I should call the Vet again to set up an appointment (he is to have a repeat Urinalysis in two weeks). Is he peeing too much for a 15 week old puppy?? I only have experience with Cooper and he definitely was able to hold it longer than Dozer.
Sorry for the long post...and thank you for any experience you have to share

No he hasn’t... what would be involved in diagnosing Ectopic Ureter? The Vet has treated him for the UTI, done the Urine for C&S and Urinalysis.... no other tests. He seems focused on the Crystals and working on resolving the crystals. The Vet feels his dribbling is related to the crystals and inflammation, but Dozer has started peeing everywhere again and I am at a loss.
I can certainly mention it to the Vet

Is he 15 months or 15 weeks? Either way, I'd talk to the vet again. What is the overall strategy for dealing with the crystals? Also, did you do a full blood panel and check kidney function? I'd also talk to the vet about potential ectopic ureter.

Sorry this is happening. Crystals certainly would be irritating.
Sending mojo that this gets resolved quickly.

I would be concerned....usually with a UTI, the antibiotic should take care of it. And if he is still showing signs, symptoms, I would ask for some blood work.
Hoping this gets resolved soon.

I'd really keep pushing your vet on this. Understandably, vets sometimes get into a routine. They see a lot of clients every day and deal with a lot of the same stuff over and over and I can only imagine some of the clients they have to deal with (human and animal).
