The Vet Hospital called to let me know that the surgery started at 945 and that they had administered an epidural for pain control... so now we wait

I just received a call from the Veterinarian Hospital and the surgery is over. Dozer is waking up and he did well.
Apparently after a CT Scan and Ultrasound that showed an ectopic ureter on the right side...the surgery revealed that neither of his ureters were ectopic.... that in fact he has a sphincter mechanism issue. Needless to say I am both shocked and disappointed that both radiologists dropped the ball on this. I am looking forward to meeting the surgeon and going over what has transpired over the past two days.
Will update after I see my puppy

From what I understood from our phone conversation the Surgeon thinks that between Propalin, him developing and testosterone that he will have better control of his bladder. I’m not sure at this point if anything else can be done, but nothing surgical needed to be done at this time. I hope to have more answers when I see the surgeon this afternoon

    WOW, both
    radiologists
got it wrong with the CT scan and ultrasound, I would be very upset with them!! How can that happen.

Sending MOJO Dozer's problem can be solved by someone that knows what to do.
