We use Nin Jiom herbal cough syrup for the girls (as per their vet) and us. Ursa loves it.

Dozers cough seems to be subsiding, it is not productive anymore, but he does have green nasal discharge. He is still eating/drinking well and full of energy (hard to keep quiet to rest and get better so he is getting more frequent crate rests)

Cooper is still coughing quite a bit, non-productive and he has clear nasal discharge. He is eating and drinking well, not as playful as usual, but I want him to stay quiet and rest.

Here’s to hoping that they both are feeling better soon

Dozer seems like he has fully recovered... he is no longer coughing, no further nasal discharge, playful
and back to his normal routine.
Cooper is still coughing, coughed/threw up clear/white mucous again yesterday and has a yellow/red nasal discharge that started today. I have a picture of it draining from his nose as he slept (sorry for grossing every out). Should I be concerned about the colour or is this normal for a respiratory virus in a dog?? He is eating and drinking okay. No fever. Thoughts??

I would take him to your Vet...I'm wondering if it could be the Canine Flu?

That nasal discharge does not seem normal.

I had him looked at (in the parking lot of the Vet Clinic seeing as he is highly contagious) and the Vet prescribed antibiotics for him. He is almost halfway done the antibiotics and is symptom free now, no coughing, no nasal discharge and back to playing.
