My Brutus and my Honey walked like this before they started having any hind end issues, as did/does Sunnie. Sunnie's might be something else but Bru and Honey were just fine at the time. (interesting...I just realized that the sway was with the yellows only...my chocolate boys didn't do this....and Baffle had serious hind end issues)

I think leaning to pee like he does would be really uncomfortable if his leg hurt.

    How's he looking today?

(I meant to reply/quote Nancy for that first bit.)
Funny, I was just walking backwards around the house with a treat to see if he was swaying. He was walking very straight on the back end. If it presents, we will tackle it. For now, I'll focus on the front.

He seems good today. Out to potty and significant limp. He had the treadmill last night. Therapist said he did great. Cut it off at 25 minutes and the spent 35 minutes massaging him.

Just mowed my lawn and as soon as that dries I'll try to get a better video and share.

I think most of what we saw in the video was a result of slow walking, stopping to sniff, etc.

Yes, walking in a straight line at a steady pace might completely erase what I "think" I saw. Can someone else video while you walk him? It's hard to do both yourself, I know from Oban's limp at that age.

It's just me so I have no one to assist. I tried yesterday but he was SLOWLY walking around sniffing the fresh cut lawn. lol I'll keep trying. He doesn't sway the hips when moving faster. He does however have a little limp post injection when moving fast. Prior to the injections, he had a very pronounced limp when walking at a slow pace. Post injections, he does not have that limp. That makes me VERY hopeful. We go swimming at the pool today. Samson at 1100 and then Asher at 1300.

Good luck with the swimming and the injections. It's hateful that such a young pup should have these issues.

I took Asher to his therapy pool session today. We were walking across the big training floor when the therapist said "he doesn't seem to be limping today.". Whoooohoo. I've been smiling since. The injection seems to be helping.

I just wanted to share this. I received in the mail today. Very touching given the stressful situation I'm going through with Asher. -20180821_180555-jpg

That's nice of them. Your post from 10 days ago sounded a bit more hopeful, how is he doing now?

I am still hopeful. His slow pace walk is still nearly limp free. When he walks at a faster pace he limps more. Walks are going ok. If I hold him back to a very slow pace he does not limp at all and walks with his head up. Therapy twice a week is going well too. Next set of injections on 8/30. I'm keeping a journal and plan to bring with me. I have some questions listed as well. The limp at faster paces walks concerns me.
