Round two of injections for Asher complete yesterday. The surgeon noted improvement in his gate which confirms my thoughts. Poor guy was sedated and injections complete. I was leaving the Asian place when I got the call he was ready. When I walked in, the girls at the desk were just smiling. I wondered what was up. I look behind them on the floor and it was my baby. Four of the girls including the lab tech were loving on him. He was very loopy. As soon as he heard my voice, he was ready to get up. The lab tech walked out with me to help me get him in the Explorer. Of course he dropped down on the ground and didn't want to move. Rest of the afternoon and evening he spent whining and crying. Just one more injection to go (9/18). After the 3rd, he will be good for 6 months (I hope).

He's all chipper and excited this morning. He went out off leash in the back this morning. He did zoomies all around the back yard. Grass was kicking up as he made his turns. I love watching this boy run. He had a blast. The surgeon said I should let him go and just be a puppy. That's what I'm doing. Good mojo please! I hope to see more improvement after yesterdays shots.

Seriously, try the warm towel stuff. I was skeptic at first, too, but we made it through the whole summer and part of the spring without PT. Try it, it mAay save you $$$!

sending positive thoughts and mojo your way. I would be undone. I am so fearful of our boys recovery... Our surgeon said hat they really cant undo or damage the work he he did. but that if they get too rowdy or something that it would just be uncomfortable for them. not sure how true that is... My heart break when I see the boys not well. I hope Asher is all good very soon!

Today we finished up the 3 sets of injections. Surgeon was very pleased. Tiny amount of fluid build up taken out of left joint and a small amount out of the right. He still limps at faster paces on the right but so much improvement after these injections. Hopefully I can close the book on this for 3 to 6 months. We will then go back for more shots. I plan to do hydrotherapy twice a week indefinitely.

Thanks everyone for following and thanks for all the positive thoughts.

He's wiped out still. Nasty sedation.
