Cooper has a raised bump on his neck that we initially saw in October last year.....diagnosed as a wart. My understanding was warts typically go away within months....but I definitely could be wrong.
Nine months later and the bump has definitely gotten bigger, more so in height, but also in diameter....do warts typically continue to grow?
.....thoughts??

Yeah, that's typical, Hemi has one on his head. Started really tiny, barely noticeable. It got bigger and has sat there for almost a year now. He has had others, they have come and gone but this one seems to want to stay there. Some do come and go some want to stay. I have had this on me as well. In the past i used to get warts in my hand on occasion, small tiny ones would go away withing a few months, there were some though that got larger and well I do not know if they would have gone away on their own as I had them all removed.

Yep...warts can grow. I think every dog I've ever had had at least one or two and most did not disappear. Sunnie gets warts, Danny gets lipomas (and one wart inside his left thigh since he was about 2...he's 9 now; it's a dangler and sometimes gets abraded but doesn't bother him at all. I need to be mindful when toweling him off or brushing but that's the only concern.).

Thanks....I can quit worrying
Dozer also has one....on his lower jaw area...seemed to pop up out of no-where
It might bleed. Don't worry about that though. It's typical.

could be a benign skin tumor. Jack got one on his ear. It stayed raw for awhile, but finally healed up. Now it's getting a bit bigger, so we might have to remove it.

Our seniors all have had small ones. I just watch to see if they change, bleed without evident cause. Just have the vet take a look at your next regular visit.
