I would probably be sitting outside their door at 7 am. I hope the vomiting stops and there's nothing more going on. I'm sure both you and Bubba are exhausted.
Took Bubba to the park around 4:30pm for a walk and fetch, all was well. Fed him his dinner at 5 and then left the house until 9pm. When I got back I heard him make a wheezing noise, but otherwise he greeted me happily and his behavior was normal. I got in bed at 9:30 (hadn't slept well the night before, was very tired). From then on almost every 30 minutes Bubba has vomited multiple times. He wheezes a few times before doing so making me think there could be an obstruction. At first it was just bile and mucous (which is weird since he had his dinner not that long ago). Now, 6 hours later, there is a little more food but it is extremely mucousy. When he is laying down I can feel his stomach continually contracting until it gets more severe and he wheezes and vomits again. Usually he vomits 2-3 times with each session. We are completely out of paper towels and carpet cleaner. I wouldn't normally go to the vet for vomiting but this feels different and prolonged. Also I am supposed to be dropping him off at boarding on Thursday because I am traveling this weekend.
They open at 7am so I will be calling them then. Send us good thoughts.

Sending good thoughts... hope Bubba is feeling better soon
I'd be at an e-vet, not waiting for the regular vet to open. That's really concerning.
Hope it's nothing serious maybe something like a non-toxic spider or bug that he swallowed that bit him or something.
Thanks for the well wishes. The vet thinks he either got into something or kennel cough, leaning towards kennel cough which is probably the worst news I could have gotten since he is supposed to be boarded this weekend. Also horrible luck since he is vaccinated against it (though I know it's not very effective) and has only been around other dogs twice in the past three weeks. He got an injection for nausea, antibiotics for kennel cough, and some pepcid meds. I hope he starts seeming better soon, and I'll try to figure out what I'm going to do tomorrow. It's not a trip I can easily cancel because I am meeting someone and would feel bad that they spent a lot of money on flights and plans.
I hope he fells better soon. Maybe you can find someone from rover to watch him.
Sure hope the meds help. Sounded scary at first. I'm so lucky - my vet is open until 0100 and then I have a big vet ER open 24 hours -- all within 5 miles of me.
Oh, thank goodness it sounds fixable.
Honestly, my first thought...that I didn't want to say...was that he got poisoned.
I'd be looking around for a pet/house sitter for while you're on your trip. Someone really reliable...not just a kid down the street who'll drop in to feed him.
I thought he was poisoned too! I thought it was one of those horrible cases where some sick person leaves purposefully poisoned hot dogs or meatballs in the park. He's already doing a lot better with just the nausea shot and I found a guy on rover who can dogsit at my house with 40+ 5 star reviews and 30 repeat clients. I'm meeting him later today. And i'll leave a note for my neighbor to watch out for any "funny business".
Now the thing I'm annoyed about is that when I called the boarding place to cancel they said that kennel cough was "going around the area" and they had several other clients who had it as well. So now I know where he probably got it! When he went in last week for his "evaluation daycare day".
Thank you everyone for checking in! It was a horrible night, but things are looking a little better now and I've had 3 cups of coffee

I'm sorry your baby's sick, but I'm glad it's not serious!
