Little rant here. I went to OSU on 10/31. The surgeon told me she was going to consult with her colleagues and call Dr. Daye from Akron on our next steps for Asher. She was honest in stating that she was not sure what direction we needed to go or how aggressive we needed to be (with another surgery). This is OSU now...top rated around the country. I have received no call backs or anything. I have reached out 3 times and they have not returned any call. I'm less than happy. I travel all the way down there because I am seeking the best possible care for Asher and they can't even take the time to help me? Ugh. I called last week because I finished up the 2 x's a week adequan injections and I'm not sure what frequency to go now. The lab tech says "that's a question for a doctor, I'll leave a message." No call back. I called Friday and I told the receptionist I was not happy at all. Of course they were all in "surgery" and said they would get back to me next week.

I think I'm going to call Akron and see if they can get the CT scan and have Dr. Daye go over it. Also see if they can guide me on the adequan. I have zero plans to go back to OSU!

I see improvement in Asher's gate but the limp is there. Had our 2nd acupuncture appointment Monday last week (just got back from 10 days of vacation). Only his 2nd appointment. The doctor says improvement is generally noted after 5 sessions no more than 10 days apart. We go every Monday at 8pm. Hydrotherapy is on Friday and Saturday.

I'll post some vacation pictures once I download them.

Wow how frustrating. I am also very happy that there has been some improvement. I hope you can get the answers soon.

I feel you. It's sounds so frustrating. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you will get some answers soon! At some point, you may want to accept that he will always walk with a slight limp.

I've already accepted that possibility. That's a large part of why I went to OSU. I'm totally willing to go the conservative route. I was hoping OSU could ease my mind. I'll give them until weds to call me back and then I'm calling Akron.
