Ditto, off to the vet for sure.

Best thoughts that it's an easy fix.

We were at the Vet a few days ago and he is on antibiotic eye drops, but no improvement. I sent the Vet a picture this morning of the eye and the Vet wants to see him. We didn’t see our usual Vet when we went, but he saw the picture this morning we will be seeing him.

Do you remember what was wrong with Bandits eye?

This is is a picture from last night... some drainage, but could be from the drops. I’ll update after his appointment

Hemi had something like this once. Basically his 3rd eyelid got infected. Which this is what it looks like to me. The pink part looks like his 3rd eyelid. There is a condition they get with that eyelid called Cherry eye. A lot of things can cause cherry eye. Bacteria or even damage. Has he had any trauma to his face you know of? I have seem Hemi shake his toys pretty violently and smack the head of another dog trying to steal the toy. Something like this could cause it.

I do not remember the medication Hemi went on for it, but it was kind of like a gel, I put it on his eye ball, they had me do both eyes, twice a day for like 14 days to get it all. Actually cool stuff, squezed out of a time but melted into nothing the moment it hit his eyeball. I didn't see an improvement for a few days. He also had more goopy eyes too but it did clear up. When he first got it we were camping far away, we went to a different vet he gave us a liquid drops. It didn't work, it relieved it but as soon as we stopped it after the time I was told it immediately came back. Thats when Hemi's dog gave is the gel stuff.

He had an eye exam again with no scratches or ulcers noted.... and he was so well behaved The swelling to his conjunctiva has subsided a little with the drops he was on, but is still present. New prescription for antibiotic and steroid drops... hoping this will do the trick.
