Anal glands probably need to be expressed.
Yes...most likely his anal glands.
^^Anal glands!!
I noticed Cooper having difficulty sitting on the weekend, not wanting to sit, whining when he attempted to sit....off to the Vet and it was his anal glands...or I should say one gland that was impacted. He wasn't scooting his bum on the floor (too sore I think), but when he does scoot his glands are full.
Probably anal glands BUT....have you started giving him anything different? Food ingredients? Snacks? Did the nutrition label for your food change recently? He could be getting irritated from the new ingredient.
it was always anal glands with our dogs...
