I feed Eukanuba Premium Performance here to my adults, and the lg breed puppy formula to Honey (almost 1 yo!). Euk has no peas in it, but does have corn.
That said, a friend who had had ear issues w/ ProPlan has none w/ Euk, so if it was corn related, perhaps not all corn should be considered equal.

I used to feed Canidae ALS (no corn, wheat or soy) but in all honesty, once I caught onto the fact that it had super high calcium (and flax and alfalfa), which can interfere w/ breeding (and I did have a couple problems), I switched back to Eukanuba. My girls' coats are much better now, and I've had no issues w/ breeding/ whelping. Never have had allergy issues here so I can't address that.

Oh, I forgot about Eukanuba. Yes, that caused the same problems as Pro Plan and Royal Canin.

Bummer. Interesting to learn recently that Eukanuba & RC merged! I did not know until I received some coupons for free food and in the fine print there it was... Royal Canine.

So one of my lab friends whose older lab ended up w/ DCM after yrs of being fed Acana is now feeding Nature’s Logic Beef Canine Dry Kibble: Beef | Natures Logic
I assume she did her homework??? I really don't do a lot of dog food shopping since Eukanuba has worked so well for me.

Hmmm I thought for years that Niner had a chicken problem. A few months ago I switched him to Authority chicken and rice (this is Petsmarts brand). It has no legumes or potatoes. It does have corn gluten meal which I have no problem with. To my surprise he has done quite well on this food. Poop is good, ears are good and coat looks great. Who knew? lol

No grain free for any of the dogs here.
