9 month old lab is constipated

My poor little guy isn't pooping. This morning he puked up last nights dinner. Then ran through the kitchen with the runs. I noticed yesterday he was constipated and still is today. He seems to be in good spirits, yet I wonder if there's anything I can do for him/and should watch for?

I guess I'd watch to see if he keeps his next meal down. One of my previous dogs ate a pair of short socks and vomited up his meals twice in a row. Sometimes straining without being able to go means there's something blocking the way out. Labs are notorious for eating things they shouldn't, clothing, toys, mulch or sticks, rocks, hair ties, dishtowels, so many things! If it doesn't seem to be improving very soon, I'd get him checked out by your vet.

My first thought was blockage, too...vomiting, diarrhea, straining. I'd be going to the vet now. Good luck!

I'd be worried about obstruction at this point. A vet visit is definitely recommended.

Oh boy, sounds all too familiar. Head to the vet. They will check for obstruction. X-rays, etc. My visit last year with Asher cost me about 500 bucks when all said and done. Luckily for me, they induced vomiting and Asher actually puked up the cat toy he ingested. It was toward the back of his stomach.

How did he do last night and this morning? I hope all is OK.

Are you at the Vet now? They CAN have liquid diarrhoea and still have a blockage.
