Blood work is perfect and x rays are clear. Going to stop all supplements for 14 days. If I notice he is in more pain without his rimadyl I will add it back. Hopefully I will be able to identify which is bothering him. Just happy the tests were clear. Keep the good mojo coming. Asher needs a good night's sleep.....so does his mom. 😀

Great news. Good luck with taking him off all his meds. I hope you find the culprit

I wonder if he doesn't have a foreign body in his stomach that is not radiopaque (doesn't show up on xray), and it is irritating his stomach. Another thought is an intestinal intussusception (telescoping of the intestines, that slides in and out) and will cause nausea. I think I would do an abdominal ultrasound with a specialist to rule both of those out.

Good luck, I hope you find out what is bothering him.

If taking him off all his meds offers no relief, I will take him back for a ultrasound of his abdomen and kidneys. I am very hopeful it is the supplements. We shall see. Day two no meds. Quite the change for the poor boy. He's been on all except adequan for over a year.

Sigh. Well, he got sick last night (0330 this morning). Liquid brown puke. Much more digested than normal. He has had no supplement or meds since Monday early morning. I'll report to his doctor.

Poor boy. It might take some time for the meds to be out of his system. Do you know the half life of the meds he was on. I really hope he feels better soon.

well, Ester C 30 minutes, Omega's 37 hours and 46 hours. Unsure on Rimadyl. Apoquel 24 hours. Then the glucosamine / MSN 12 hours.

Geez, I'm so sorry to hear there's been no clear improvement. Your Asher is going to be the most investigated boy around. I hope you find the solution soon.
