Indeed!! I forgot what it was like to sleep through the night. Three nights in a row. It has honestly been months since I have been able to do that. Same for him. He has to feel just so much better. I just couldn't kick him out of bed so it sort of became our norm. I pray the transition back to kibble goes OK. Going to slowly start tonight.

FYI, your post may have helped one of my family member's little Min Pin, who also vomits nearly every night apparently. I mentioned Asher's plight and my brother said yeah, one of their dogs vomits nightly but "it's just bile so I don't know why he's vomiting!" OK, what time of day does he eat? 7 a.m. and 3 or 3:30 p.m. So his stomach is empty for 15- 16 hours between his dinner and his breakfast? Yeah... My brother stays with us a couple days a week to attend vision rehab classes in our town. I sent him home with a strong recommendation to try giving little Ajax 3 meals a day, including one at bedtime. My brother said well, they might have to wake him up to give him the bedtime meal. OK, well it's that or have him vomit on the bed at 3 am as he does most nights. (And don't they let him outside at bedtime or is that just something I do?) To me, it seems like it would be worth the effort to try it rather than having to wash bedsheets every day. I'm glad Asher seems to be improving and maybe Ajax will stop his nocturnal vomiting as well!

Salem starts doing this at the start of the hot weather, l always thought it was the heat that brought it on. Could be the suppliments, never crossed my mind, those are suppose to be good for them.

Not sure what the cause for Asher is. I did have to start him back on Rimadyl tonight. He is hurting and I can't let that continue. I won't start the supplements until I talk to his doctor again. Not sure if he wants to run more tests or do a scope. Good luck with Salem.

Well, Asher got sick this morning at 02:00. I was slowly adding his kibble back in since Friday. I also started giving him rimadyl Saturday morning because he was limping very bad and holding his right let up when sitting. So, not sure if it's the kibble or rimadyl.

I don't know if it will help his stomach but Cartrophen Vet is an alternative to Rimadyl and easier on the liver. Last I checked only your Vet could get it by special order if you are in the U.S. We've been able to get in Canada for some years and I have used it on two dogs and a cat. I injected myself, with Vet instruction.

Oh, shoot. Can he handle yogurt? The only way I could get Rimadyl into my Akita (at half dose, actually) was with a tablespoon of yogurt included in those meals.

Sunnie's on Rovera (same thing) and automatically has been getting a tsp/tbsp. of yogurt with her meals. No issues.

My money's on the Rimadyl as being the cuprit.
