Yes I used Galliprant for my previous dog, Sprocket. She had two bad knees (two TPLO surgeries and lots of arthritis) and her left elbow developed dysplasia later in life, probably due to her knee issues. I tried the Adequan injections and don’t think they helped. Galliprant helped a little, but not a ton. I liked the idea of Galliprant over other options because she had liver issues which I was able to control with Denamarin. Galliprant is easier on the liver than many of the other choices.

    Non-steroid, less side effects.

Does anyone know how long it takes to see improvement with galliprant. Niner seems a little out of it today as I gave him his first dose last night. He's eating and pooping fine, but just seems slightly slow.

usually takes at least 3 days to get drug circulating at correct levels. should be a little help in as little as 30 min.

I not sure this is going to work. I mentioned he seemed a little lethargic today. Around 4:00pm (almost 24 hours since first dose) Niner seemed more like himself. I gave him his second dose about 1 1/2 hours ago and he’s drooling

that sucks...prednisone was prescribed to chili for ear infection and it made hime drool bad. maybe cutting down dosage is an option. I dont like giving drugs to dogs that make them drool...reminds me of drugged up mental patients in movies...not good.

My thoughts too. Niner has taken previcox before and he never was lethargic or drooling. Do you think I should call the dr.
