Poor Sam is really under the weather. I feel so bad. He was drooling like crazy and panting so I emailed the vet. She said to give home 4 Benedryl and that should help with the drooling. She said he just needs to sleep off the sedative. Unfortunately, he's really restless and doesn't want to relax. Poor guy!

Ah, poor Sam. Hopefully by the morning when the anesthesia is worn off he'll feel better.

Sending mojo that the lump turns out to be nothing.

Arrggghhhh. Don't you just hate these mysteries? Of course you're relieved he is ok but it sure would be nice to know what the cause was, so maybe you can avoid that happening again. So nice he's better though, after feeling crummy for what? A week?

Just seeing this now Georgia. Poor Sam and poor you. I sure hope the biopsy shows nothing of concern that maybe some antibiotics won't take care of. Glad he's feeling better today. The waiting for results is the worst, but you and I already know that, right. Hang in there. Give Sam a big hug from me

I finally heard back from the vet with Sam's report. I didn't get to talk to her since she called my home number instead of my cell, but I plan on calling her back tomorrow. Anyway, the report said the lump is reactive lymphoid tissue. She said basically it's an area that got injured or responded to him chewing on something. She said it's nothing to be majorly worried about but she wants us to monitor it and bring him back in about 3-4 weeks. I'm a little concerned because it is lymph node related but hopefully she's right and it will resolve itself.
