    Poor guy!

I just checked the dosage on my Benadryl (CVS' version) and it is 25 mg. Auggie is getting 100mgs twice a day. It helps with the itching, but it tends to dry him out so he's drinking more water.

    I hope Sam is ok!!

Just seeing this now, any better? I look for non drowsy Benedryl when I get it for the dog.

It's not possible to drain the gland? Like for an abscess?

Unfortunately, the lump is no better. He has two more doses of Rimadyl left but I don't think it will make a difference. I'm not sure what the vet plans on doing. She said sedate him and aspirate the lump, but she didn't say whether that would get rid of it or if she's doing that so she can biopsy it. I hope if it has to come off, it's a simple surgery and doesn't require a huge incision. It's right in the middle of his face. We tried to take a picture of it but it's hard to see.
