And people who don't own dogs think all we do is pick it up! Not so - we become experts in examining it!!
Sad but so.
We all know it.
Due to some poop issues and time constraints and dog shows, I put the boys back on kibble. They (Jack, Jed, and Grace) were eating Earthborn Holistic Coastal Catch... Everyone was soft. Just one cup a meal, so it's not like they are over-fed. Grizz is fine, but he's on PP 30/20. The next bag to be opened is PP Turkey/Barley, which I have started mixing with the Coastal Catch as I reach the bottom of the bin. Do you know everyone is firming up. I'll put Jack on EH Great Plains next because he does better on Bison or Fish due to his seizures. And I know how he does on that. But apparently Jed and Grace's systems are saying PP is better for firmer, smaller poops.

Had not thought about how hard it would be feeding raw and showing. Do you have a spread sheet to help keep everything straight.
I honestly don't know how you manage keeping a record of 4 dogs poo!! Let alone manage 4 dogs with everything you do with shows etc... Watching one dog's poop is enough for me and sometimes I need to think hard about whether I'm still waiting for a poop or not, or whether that "part 2" poo of the day has been done.
I do think our dogs think we love their poo and that whereas they like to roll in some types of poop that their humans like to pick up their poo in bags for keepsakes. It is quite funny when you think about it.
Fran, I have a white board in the dog room where I write what each dog is getting, how much, which supplements etc. That way if I am gone, Dave can read what to feed each one. With me being gone on the weekends, I don't like to make him have to deal with remembering to defrost something raw or worry if he grabbed organs or muscle meat. And with 3 eating raw at times, I just can't be organized to have meats prepacked. I weigh at the time of the meal and put it in their bowl.
LOL, sometimes it's easy to keep track of who's gone etc. Grace seems to wait until I clean the whole yard before she goes. Grizz often goes in the house at night (BAAAAD dog). Jed goes in the dirt in the back. Jack's probably the one I am the most unsure of. Hudler (we actually have 5 full time) hasn't been going on schedule because he hasn't been eating, so the last few times have been house accidents.

Crikey!!! I thought managing two was bad!!!
Jen - I think you are the test case for the "go with what works" feeding systems for your dogs. A food is only good, if it's good for that dog.
Boy, I'm charting one dog and lost a few in the bush, I'm sure. I'd have thought as many as you have would be next to impossible but it seems their schedules and preferred places helps you out.
I remember a time in having 4 dogs - that was VERY hard and difficult. 2 is perfect; Rivers poops in the grass; Creek poops in the rocks.
I too would have a hard time keeping track of 4-5 dogs diets; at least when we had 4 dogs, everyone ate the same thing.
Rivers and Creek would eat the same thing now, except Creek doesn't care for raw meat; so hers is cooked.
We have been on poop watch because we are starting a rotational feeding. Ive gotten some weird looks by people overhearing my phone calls at work..."wait, so was it nice and hard or was it just a little soft? cause if it moves to diarrhea we gotta slow down..."
