What do you clean ears with?

Looking for a good product to clean ears after swimming. Malacetic Acid has been recommended. What do you use? Any particular likes or dislikes?

I put witch hazel or rubbing alcohol on a cotton round (less messy than cotton ball) and then wipe the insides and massage ears. Easy, cheap, and gets the job done.

Alcohol is what I have used in the past with pointy eared dogs. It doesn't kill some of the stuff that floppy eared dogs are prone to. Or at least that is what I was led to understand. Good to know it's used and seems to work.

That's what my Vet prescribed for our occasional yeasty ear, so that's what I use.

We use Otifree (Otifree EAR Cleaner DOG CAT 60 ML | eBay) on cosmetic cotton pads. Really works for us.

Luna swims almost daily and hasn't had any sort of ear problem yet with the rubbing alcohol/witch hazel routine. Knock on wood!

The vet prescribed maya something for an ear infection. However she is still shaking her head, just not as much. So I use vetericyn. I brought it to the vets and she said it will work just fine.
