Know of what your talking about. DH does work around the house all the time and there are tools and pieces of tools spread out all over the place. He also recently replaced sockets and plugs and left tiny pieces of stripped metal wire at each spot. Really fussed about that.

So glad Bruce didn't take a sample. Totally agree, money well spent for piece of mind.

Did you happen to be holding it in your mouth and swallow it yourself, LOL?

LOL!!!! No I'm pretty sure it wasn't me swallowing it. I swear I stuffed it in my shorts pocket, but I also had dog treats and a poop back in that pocket. My theory is it fell out when I went for the poop back when we were out in the yard. We went out about 6 times while I was doing the work.

I'd be happier too knowing it wasn't in one of my dogs!

Definitely money well spent for the peace of mind. Perhaps the look you were getting was related to your frantic search. My 2 have given me this look, sometimes I really think they would like to laugh at me!

So glad Bruce didn't eat it and you know for certain! Expensive, but worth the peace of mind.

When Polly was a pup, we had a heat pump put in and the fellow was installing the new thermostat, put a very small plastic bag with tiny screws and things on the floor - so Polly raced over and put in her mouth. I moved so fast and got it out right away - everyone thought I was crazy running around "Oh, she'd never do that. . " My reply; "Oh yes she would!!" You do have to know your pups!
