Get some Slippery Elm capsules if you can, most places are closed today though. I keep them on hand for digestive issues, and they are a godsend. They help with gas, constipation, diarrhea, any digestive upset. I give two at a time, with a meal, at the first sign of trouble.

Poor Sam, seems like he's always having a bit of tummy upset. chicken/rice or beef/rice works great.

Actually he has a pretty sturdy digestive tract! The last time he had issues was in August when we were at the beach. That was a combination of me forgetting his food and the ocean water he insisted on ingesting. After his initial trouble this morning, he has been good. I boiled some turkey and baked a sweet potato for him so I might give him a little bit to eat for dinner. He's skulking around the kitchen because he smells our dinner. I'm a wimp and can't stand his pathetic feed me eyes!

Hopefully just a one time thing. And, how can you refuse those eyes?

Yay! Sam is back to normal today! I have enough turkey and sweet potato to feed him today, but will probably return to his regular diet tomorrow. I used to always have FortiFlora on hand but don't have any right now. Im going to need to order some.

Good to hear! It seems they always have these things happen when it's a holiday, when you're on vacation, when the vet's office is closed, something like that. "Getting through until..." is one of my least favorite activities. Solid Sam, that's what we like!
