Any ideas what from?.....this is creepy, given he eats a raw diet....of which I feed too. Thing is, bacteria is everywhere, even in processed foods, so who knows.

    but it's still creepy

Yeah... could be the diet, I suspect the eggs I've given him last Sunday and Tuesday may have been contaminated. I've been feeding raw for two years and never had a problem, until now. But he could have picked it up in the park somewhere too... no one cleans after their dogs here

Glad he's on the mend...you and he have had more than your fair share of nasties.

Would not surprise me if the eggs were the culprit. We stayed at a B and B when we were in the UK back in September. They had their own chickens and we had "fresh" eggs every morning. I wasn't really thinking when we were eating runny eggs that they weren't pasteurized like the eggs are here in the US. We both ended up with food poisoning. Lesson learned.

I love runny eggs too. I never thought about it. I was so lucky!

I'm so glad you're getting it sorted out with Cookie. It scared me to to read this thread. Glad you know what it is and hope he recovers in short order.

Opie had a day last week with runny stools. It went away after a couple stools and back to normal. I was so glad to see them back to normal too.
