Thanks. He's having a nap with my hubby right now, I think he will be more alert when he wakes up. I will feed him supper supper when he gets up. Guess I should have asked what they consider a light supper...and they are closed now. Any thoughts...should I just give him 1/2 of his usual supper??

Glad to hear all went well. Tilly had a tooth out last year and I was pretty freaked out but she recovered well and thankfully no need for a cone. I gave her approx half of her normal meal the first evening, and as usual, she inhaled it. I do home cook for her so I did mush it up for the first couple of days and than back to normal. It was suggested to give her some yoghurt due to the ab's, and she didn't have any objection to it at all hope everything continues to go well.

Glad to hear he is home and snuggled in. Tomorrow morning you will see a big difference with the anesthesia gone. My vet did not mention a soft meal (except for Archie) but I just thought it would feel better. As the vet said, they really don't chew their kibble, just gobble it down.

I would think half normal meal would be good and back to normal amount tomorrow.

    Sending healing prayers.

    Thanks you
No mention of a soft diet for Cooper either for that exact reason...they don't chew, they gobble it whole lol. He ate half of his usual supper last night with no problems. He is back to himself this morning thankfully, just hate to see him drugged like that - ate all of his breakfast and has been out to do his business.
Weigh in yesterday (fasting) was 71lbs...so he has some catching up to do to get him back where I like hilm around 76/77 lbs. Seeing as all of his chew toys are put away, he will be spending more time with his treat ball, at least I know those extras won't hurt him any lol.
Have a great weekend and as always thanks for all the support!!!
