No date. We're getting the UTI cleared up first and have agreed on the "one thing at a time" philosophy. Curiously, the "growth" seems to have shrunk today and is less discolored so now I'm wondering if that was misdiagnosed and is in fact an infected gland or something. We will see as the antibiotic run proceeds. Maybe I've become too much of a skeptic. It's hard to tell.

My view would be more of a conservative approach at this point (13 years old???), especially given that Fran has had a few procedures in the recent past. I would look towards quality of life, medication to assist and another Vet to give a full exam possibly.

Best wishes in whatever you choose for your dog.
