    LOL, no, I'm sorry. What I meant to get out is that we haven't a clue what to do and are bombarded with advice and suggestions that sometimes completely contradict each other. I could guess at why Nancy Kerns said that is you might be feeding the allergen anyway if the main protein ate, say grass. But she didn't say. You have feed something, kibble might be the same.

    I had a very similar experience with my labs last summer. They had all the symptoms your dog has. It was so frustrating as the dogs were completely miserable. We feed a grain free food. The vet ruled out mange but they can't always tell from their scraping. Also, ours had a red rash on their tummies, arm pits etc and a weird unpleasant smell. Never figured it out for sure. What cleared it up was Revolution application every two weeks for three applications then monthly after that. Also used an anti-fungal shampoo that you leave on for 10 minutes that seemed to help also. In the end I don't know if it was mange or yeast. Please keep posted so we hear how you make out.
