I am just seeing all of this...and wanted to send you all good thoughts and prayers for your dear Aowyn.

I know how hard it is having a senior dog, but seniors are just so special...I think the best time of their lives..

It is all about quality of life...and remember that dogs always live in the moment..and know they are loved.

    That's what really matters...

Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. Aowyn is doing just awesome. She is absolutely happy and is having fun and is full of life; yelling at me for walks, demanding her breakfast and dinner, leading me to the kitchen for people left overs. I worry about her but i don't think there is a need to be worried at this point other than she is an older dog and has older dog issues. Trust me she is in a better mindset than i am.

My last post was just me needing to vent because after going through all the stuff with Aowyn the past couple of months and getting to a point where she seems to be okay, I learned that my cat we rescued as a kitten from under a car in the school parking lot does have a terminal form of cancer. I just wasn't in the mindset or ready to learn of another senior animal that was sick. Especially since this was so fast acting.
