I hope Addie feels better soon and it is just a strain nothing serious. Did her vet give her any pain meds or just the fish oil stuff and joint supplements?

My Bailey had arthritis in his back he had a terrible time with getting up and down. We tried adiquin? injections which really worked for him I only wish we would have started them sooner, plus he was also on pain meds and joint supplements. We did take him in for an xray you could see the arthritis in two areas on his back.

Thanks everyone! Addie is doing well, and there does not seem to be a serious injury. We are going to try medication for 30 days and she how she does. At that time we will decide on xrays and more blood work if necessary. The vet did blood work yesterday as well but I don't have the results yet.

Thanks to all for your well wishes and comments!

Honestly, after having been thru a serious neck injury w/ one of mine ~11 yrs ago, I'd urge you not to wait on the diagnostics. If she is not weight bearing, and falling over, it has to be serious. Those things rarely resolve w/ just rest and often times delaying will make the treatment more costly. Best wishes!!! Anne

Thanks windycanyon, I appreciate your input.

To be honest, I am worried about her and may take her back in. Pending the results of the blood work, and if I don't see improvement soon, I will take action.

She seems happy, and is acting otherwise normal.

    Appreciate the good thoughts!

    Thank you!

Update....I did take Addie back in for x-rays and the head vet checked her out. She had the TTA surgery 8 days ago and is recovering well.

Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts!
