6 month old with colourful vomit

    Hello, me AGAIN.

Looks like Tonka got into something yesterday. It's quite colourful, at first I thought it was stones from a fish tank, but where the heck would he have found that? We don't have any here.

He threw up quite a bit in his crate about an hour ago and I'm thinking its chewed crayons. I'm hoping at least.

What at do I need to watch for? Should I withhold breakfast?

my babysitter clearly isn't doing a good job, last week I found a pad in his stool, I'm quite angry but will deal with her in the morning.

considering you have been having ongoing poop issues as well yeah i'd be very concerned about the management in your home when you are not there...is the sitter there all day while you are at work or shorter periods here and there? Though I will note that caring for 3 kids AND a young labrador puppy is really a big ask. Lab puppies can require as much direct supervsion as a young child but even more so with a toldder/young child moving around. (not sure quite how young your kids are - but looks like they are over 4 which helps!)

honestly i'd probably check with the vet. if the are acting normal, eating and drinking normaly and most importantly, pooping then i'd probably hold off (though you can generally chat with the clinic without rushing in too). I'd wonder about toxicity but if it was inhaled yesterday it's already been quite a few hours.

hope's he's good as new in a few hours

the fun of having a puppy, gigi cryed at 2 am and i was out on pain meds after breaking a toe bone. The wife took her out and she had running diarrhea . then again at 5.00 am. We just fed her normal food hopeing she will recover. Morning wife goes to rinse of the area and finds coal from the fire pit. anyway happy she cries to let out even with diarrhea. Well after 24 hr of no diarrhea she took a rather smelly normal poop.

Scully puked a couple time as a puppy until we realized that the previous owners of the house (we had only been there a week before picking her up) had tossed their old charcoal briquets under a bush and she was getting into them.

Hope all the puking pups feel better soon!

    He's fine now!!
    I'm a paranoid owner.
And a very angry mom at this point.

Tonka had a poop and there was a damn pad in it, must have upset his tummy.
having a chat with babysitter tomorrow

so glad school starts soon and Tonka will be going to doggy daycare!

Anthony will be 3 in October and we still can't leave him in a room unsupervised. He is like a shark, constantly cruising and everything gets picked up on his way. Even the son in law 'to be' is trained to sit on the couch watching football and if Anthony isn't in sight say 'Where's Anthony?' Stella on the other hand is 3 next April and you could leave her the run of the house. At least he mainly chews and doesn't swallow. I

are you crate training? If he getting any time alone at home? (asking cuz he is still young and while it's TERRIFIC you don't have to leave him all day, it is crucial to get the puppy used to some time alone at home to get used to it even just during errands regularly - otherwise you can get a dog with major SA).

2nd crate training. Gigi hated the crate and it was a battle but its worth for emergencies. She gladly runs into her crate now and gets her cookie when mom and kids go shopping. She even spends her time in there while we are camping and have to visit places when i cannot find a doggy day care or sitter. if the wife is sick and cannot look after her, she is crated for a few hrs . Again, she gets crated for short periods when my wife takes the kids to 45 minute karata class and other small errands. Gigi sufferred from major SA and i can see that improving too.

If there was no crate there would be no Anthony
